They were all here, all of the Chosen we trapped inside the temple. He hadn’t expected the roof to give way, dropping the Trainers into the Temple, but they were all inside. Now all he had to do was find them, some of them had been through the temple’s Trainer’s Hall, where the ancient Trainers had once battled, the glowing eyes of Raikou, Entai, Suicune, Mew, Lugia and Ho-oh was testimony to that, but where had they gone from there?
They should all have fallen around the same area, so he was hunting in the general direction of the Trainer’s Hall, but he’d had a feeling that he alone was going to have difficulty tracking down nineteen Trainers, so he’d recruited some of his ghost Pokemon to bring the Trainers out of hiding, so far they’d found nothing.
But the first part of his task was complete.
The Trainers were here.
Now all he had to do was to round them up, and get them down to the lowest floors of the Temple, down to the Shrine of the Legendary, where he’d claim their powers for his own.
And then…
All hell would break lose.
And the world would be his, now and forever.
Danielle walked down the passage way, only able to see what was further along, by grace of her torch, her Haunter faded into the darkness in front of her. She’d returned her Kadabra to his Pokeball, and was wondering how Ash was doing without her Psychic Pokemon’s support.
There was a yelp and a scream from somewhere in front of her, and she sighed as a second torch swung towards her. Katherine was sat on the floor, giving Danielle’s Haunter an earbashing… if her Haunter had ears… What was it with Haunter and causing people to jump?… stupid question, her Ghost/Poison Pokemon loved to play games and causing people to scream was one of his favourites.
Katherine turned to her once she was done shouting at the ghost, “He yours?” She demanded, getting back to her feet.
“Sorry Kat.”
“Ghost types, gah.” Was the older girl’s only reaction. Haunter floated around his trainer, “Have you seen anyone else?”
“Kayla and Ash were with me, you know, the boy with the Pikachu, and girl with the Vaporion,” Katherine nodded, “But we spilt up to see if we could find anyone, Kayla went one way, Ash another and I came this way. What about you?”
Katherine shook her head, “No, but Raikou’s eyes were lit up.”
“Then Brendan must have been through there before you.”
“How do you figure that?”
“I’ll explain in a minute, but shall we go forward and see if we can find anyone else first?”
“There’s a dead end this way, I was on my way back.”
“I’ll explain on the way back then.”
