“This is insane; nineteen Pokemon Trainers cannot just go missing on an island this small.” Gary Oak complained to no one in particular as he stalked away from the Pokemon Centre, where Ash and another Trainer had been much earlier in the day. Night had fallen already, the Trainers hadn’t been seen since they’d left the ship seven hours ago in the care of their Tour Guide who was now missing too, he’d checked there first…
Gary Oak looked around the town, Officer Jenny was now out and about, having been alerted by the CS Legacy that some of their passengers had gone missing. He was glad that this island didn’t have the 24 hour rule before looking that some places did, he supposed with it being a popular tourist spot they couldn’t since most people moved on the next day. Jenny had stopped to speak to him a couple of times and what she’d said wasn’t reassuring.
They had no clue either.
And now Raikou was on the move, it’s speed allowing it to dash across the water, almost as fast as a bolt of lightening, Raikou would beat the other Legendaries here.
When the legendaries assembled, there would only be one outcome.
There would be a war between them.
And if the world had gone to hell now, it was nothing compared to what would happen when the legendaries fought.
Garyhad to find out what the hell was going on.
And he was certain the missing Trainers had something to do with…
Legendary Pokemon, Legend Temple’s disturbance…
Garyturned and ran up the hill.
Iason looked back over his shoulder, everyone was still there, though he wasn’t too happy about the arrangement. An argument had sprung up between Rex and Greg when they had tried to work out who would go after Ash, and the teen had put himself at the other end of the line to end it. Rex was glowering as the order ran Iason, Kayla, Danielle, Juni, Hayley, George, Rex, Darius, Katherine, Raven, Greg, Ash.
Ash’s Pikachu was in Danielle’s arms, Ash had begged it to allow him to return it, after Pikachu had been hurt in the last fight, but it still refused to allow it, Raven had said that Pikachu had told Ash that they’d been a team this long, and if Ash could continue injured so could he, Raven had also said that Pikachu had seemed afraid of the Pokeball and Iason wondered if that was why Ash hadn’t fought with it over the Pokeball problem before now. Ash had made it go with Danielle after that, deciding that if it wouldn’t go in its Pokeball, maybe Danielle’s Psychic types could protect it better than he could.
Pikachu did not look happy.
But then, neither did Ash.
However, Iason thought he had the right of things, it wasn’t right to force Pikachu to go inside if he was afraid, and it would probably just break out again any way, and Ash’s Pokemon were wearing down, as was their Trainer, Iason was beginning to wonder if Lugia’s gift didn’t have some side effects.
Iason turned his eyes back to the front, the threads would not snap, and someone would notice if someone tried to cut them, he needn’t keep his eyes turned in both directions.
The left passage way ended, leading to a large room, in which was a huge statue of a Pokemon Ash had never seen before. The fire Pokemon that were providing light, spread out to give the Trainers a better look, the statue seemed to be of a Pokemon that was white, and had some sort of ring around it. Danielle looked confused as she looked at the stone tablets at its feet.
“What is that?” Iason asked, looking at her.
“I don’t know.” Danielle admitted, “And neither does…” She cut off as Kayla looked up at it, recognition on her face.
“What?” Iason asked her.
“I know this Pokemon, not personally, but I know what it is… and we should be very glad it has not got glowing eyes.”
“Kayla?”
“This is Arceus, the Creation Pokemon, considered by many to be the God of all Pokemon.”
“How do you know this?” Katherine asked.
“It was a myth back home, passed down by someone who’d come from the Sinnoh Region, this isn’t a legendary Pokemon, it’s thought to be myth to scare little Pokemon to bed with. Arceus is said not to choose one Trainer, refusing to bestow it’s gifts to anyone, but watches over all Pokemon and those Trainers, Watchers, Trainers and Rangers, any one who trains or raises Pokemon, those who treat their Pokemon well.” Kayla frowned, “They worshiped the legendaries but had a hidden shrine to a God? And were we supposed to see this?”
Kayla bit her bottom lip, a thought had run through her mind, ‘And what if our enemy knows of Arceus? What use could the knowledge of a Mythic God Pokemon do him? Everyone knows that Arceus is not a real Pokemon.’
“Wow,” Rex sighed, “Arceus, hey? Well, I’m guessing there’s no way he can get any gifts from it, so that’s one less thing we have to worry about.”
