Author Note: NaNoWriMo 2014: Completed!!!

 

I did it and I actually finished the book I was writing in almost the right amount of words. I'm going to die of shock. This is the first NaNo book that I'm actually proud of too. The nice thing is I actually finished it on the 25/11/14 and Pokemon Omega Ruby came out on the 28th. I had set myself the rule that if I did not complete the book by then, I was not allowed to buy it so yeay! I got it!

So with NaNoWriMo coming up fast, I thought it would be best to try and get the blog restarted and post the rest of the Camp NaNo thing from April. Update time has changed too. Now normally 11pm instead of midday.

Author Note: Computer Problems

No updates for the next few days while I get some computer issues sorted. I'm posting this from my phone. Don't worry, I'm writing using pen and paper so I'll have things to post when my computer is back up but until it's fixed there won't be any updates. Sorry.

Well with this update I have officially passed my word count target for April. I have no intention of leaving the story off here, I will be continuing to update this story right up until it's end.

So... I apologize guys. It's been far too long since I updated the blog. I plan on going back to a daily update from now on, but the last few weeks have been stressful and I've been job hunting and preparing for the marathon next weekend so I haven't had much writing time.

Technically I still won't have much until after Sunday when I've moved house again, but I have some stuff I can share with you guys that I've written recently that I'll post daily until I can settle and Camp NaNo kicks off on the 1st April so you'll have that to read too.

Author Note: Ancient Bits for Ennead

Today's midday update will quite possibly be one of the last 'Ennead: Ancient Bit' updates. This is because I'm beginning to tread into the territory of what I plan to cover when I reach 'Ennead: To Know One's Past,' the final book of that series, when Oneesan gets her memories back and I don't want to write the huge blow up between Oneesan and Bakura that causes the future events without planning it out carefully.

Where as everything so far has been easy to write, everything past this point doesn't want to come so easily, so I'll post it as I manage to write it well, but it won't be a coherent story, just bits and pieces. I don't want to do that to you guys without knowing how the story's going to play out so I don't confuse you by retconning things.

This doesn't mean I won't continue to update daily. There are plenty of other things in my brain that need to be put to pen and interwebs, but the backstory for Ennead will not be a regular thing any more I'm afraid.Sorry about that.

Been working on a new project. When I have a chapter or two of it complete, I will post a link to it here. I'm not sure whether it will go up on Fanfiction.net or not as I will be posting it under a new username on a different website but I might post it on ff.net too.

It's this new project that has stopped me from updating on here for the last couple of days but I will be returning to my usual schedule as of tomorrow. Around 12pm tomorrow there will be a sneak peek of the new 'Ennead: For Those We Love' chapter and I will be updating at around that time every day, including Christmas Day.

I'm not sure what I will be updating with but there will be updates.

So that's NaNo over for another year. I actually finished on the 20th at around 2am but I thought I'd update in increments for you guys. I've left it open at the end for a reason. I want to be able to play around in this universe next NaNo or when I'm bored and they have so many more stories to tell that I'm looking forward to it.

Must admit it's been awesome to see my reader count shoot up over the course of this project, I was wondering if any of you have any opinions on what's gone on. Feel free to post if you do. I've left the comments open for everyone.

Author Note: NaNoWriMo 2013: Speedster's Secrets

Right, first off sorry for not updating for a couple of days before NaNo. I had some insane shifts at work that meant writing was impossible.

Second of all, Speedster's Secrets is being written for November's National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo for short. It's an original piece of fiction that focuses on people fused with heroes from various video games, animated films or anime and manga. I'm trying to avoid naming them where I can to see if anyone can guess where they're from, though I don't actually know if anyone will comment on the story.

As it's November, my update schedule will change. Instead of a midday update, there will be a 11:50pm GMT update time. This is because it gives me a chance to write the day's words before I try and post them up. As part of NaNo I am trying to write 50,000 words in 30 days or sooner. This means 1667 words a day.

We shall see how it goes.
